Several new laws will advance housing justice for Maryland tenants, including the Tenant Safety Act, eviction prevention funds for families whose kids are in community schools, Governor Moore’s Renters’ Rights & Stabilization Act, and a law that will help shield unfair rent court records from tenants’ rental history. The Public Justice Center advocated for these laws alongside fellow members of Renters United Maryland.
