July 2, 2020: Only 23 days remain until evictions start in Maryland — in the middle of a pandemic! Today 52 organizations and over 500 residents demand in this petition that Governor Larry Hogan 1) extend and expand the eviction moratorium, and 2) allocate at least $175 million from Maryland’s $1.3 billion federal Coronavirus Relief Funds as a down payment on real rent relief (the $30 million proposed by the Governor is woefully inadequate).
