Kelsey Carlson serves as a Paralegal for the Education Stability Project. She initially joined the Public Justice Center in August 2022 as part of a year-long social justice fellowship through the Lutheran Volunteer Corps. Prior to the fellowship, she had graduated from Syracuse University with a bachelor’s degree in Writing and Rhetoric and her A.A. from Jamestown Community College. Kelsey grew up just across the pond in Boonsboro, Maryland, and her interests include reading, doodling and the Buffalo Bills. She is excited to utilize the skills she developed during her fellowship to help Maryland families receive the support they need and deserve during the education discipline process.
