Robin is a nonprofit administrator, educator, and abolitionist and has taught art inside state prisons with Project PAINT and the William James Association since 2015. Prior to joining the Public Justice Center, she was Development & Communications Director at Justice Arts Coalition, an organization that supports currently and previously incarcerated artists around the country; served as Deputy Director of Prison Arts Collective at San Diego State University; and worked in development at Family Health Centers of San Diego and Second Chance Program.
Robin is also a member of the California DOJ’s Reentry Roundtable Steering Committee, Los Angeles Regional Reentry Partnership’s Integrated Health Committee, and Transformative Programming Works (TPW, a coalition that advocates for decarceration and increased access to in-prison programs), and volunteers with Baltimore Harm Reduction Coalition.
Robin received a Master of Fine Arts from Tufts University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of British Columbia.
