Film Screening and Panel Discussion

Stand Up For Yourself in Baltimore City Rent Court

Enoch Pratt Free Library - Central Library, 400 Cathedral Street

March 11, 2009 6-7:45 pm.

Nearly 150,000 tenants are sued for eviction for nonpayment of rent in Baltimore City's District Court every year. This film is for them.
Join us for a Premiere Screening and panel discussion featuring the latest collaboration between the Public Justice Center and the Megaphone Project.
The Public Justice Center has represented tenants in District Court for 20+ years. The Megaphone Project harnesses the power of film to educate, advocate, and celebrate the work of Maryland's nonprofits. This is our 7th collaboration.
Funding for this project was provided by the 32nd Street Farmers Market Foundation, the Abell Foundation, the Baltimore Bar Foundation, and the Maryland Legal Services Corporation.
Reservations encouraged: or (410) 625-9409 x235.
