Low-wage workers working off the clock without pay, denied minimum wage, overtime pay or meal breaks. Low-income tenants living in homes with serious mold, lead paint, or dangerous structural problems. We have laws that are supposed to protect our residents. Especially in a weak economy, retaliation by employers and landlords is the downside of asserting your rights. Come join the Public Justice Center for a discussion of current efforts to challenge this all-too-common practice.
